Earn THREE Performance Stripes
First Performance Stripe

- Attend an additional 4 to 6 classes (minimum).
Third Performance Stripe
- White through Yellow Belts: Demonstrate rank self defenses and one-steps.
- Camo through Green Belts: Demonstrate one-steps and sparring.
- Purple Belts and above: Demonstrate board breaks & sparring.
- Attend an additional 4 to 6 classes (minimum).
Complete two Monthly Projects
Projects can be found on the members only section of our website, under Leadership and Character Development. Monthly projects are required for all Tiger and Youth students, but not for those in Teen / Adult Taekwondo classes. Students must complete two projects in order to receive permission to test.
Earn a Gold Stripe
Gold stripes are only earned the week prior to testing. (“Pre-test week”)
A gold stripe indicates that a student has permission to test for their next rank. Students wishing to earn testing permission should come to classes prepared with the following items:
- Complete uniform with belt correctly tied
- THREE performance stripes on the belt
Note: Tigers are lead through all material (forms, one steps, self defenses) by an instructor.
